BOARDS and COUNCILS The Frist Center is led by a diverse Board of Trustees comprised of educators, working artists, arts patrons, business leaders, community activists and government officials. The Frist Center was conceived through a grassroots visioning process, and we are continuing to seek community involvement and input. Therefore, our board has created the following councils to advise staff on community interests. Community Marketing and Outreach Council Members of this council act as "eyes and ears" in the community as the Frist Center works to fulfill its mission of engaging people of all ages and backgrounds in the exploration of art.
Development Council This Council works with Frist Center staff to identify and solicit new Circle-level members and corporate partners, as well as serve as ambassadors on behalf of the Frist Center by bringing those who have not visited to Center-sponsored events and exhibitions.
Education Council Educators and education advocates assist the Center in establishing meaningful programs that inspire and inform the community.
Marketing Council Members of this council serve as a sounding board for marketing and media relations initiatives, provide insight in developing marketing strategies and analyzing communication tactics.
Partner Institutions Council Representatives of other local cultural institutions serve on this council. We're working with them to develop cooperative programs and to achieve greater public awareness of Nashville's cultural riches. Please visit our partners on-line! |
