What is the Frist Center Kids Club?
Designed for 5–10 year olds, the Frist Center Kids Club offers exciting opportunities for children to discover, explore, and create art. Free membership includes a Kids Club card, a variety of art classes and activities, and rewards for participation.
How do you become a member of Kids Club?
To become a member of the Frist Center Kids Club, fill out the Kids Club Membership Form and bring it with you to any one of our Saturday programs.

Make your reservation for weekly Kids Club activities
Due to a limited number of space in each class, reservations are strongly suggested and can be made two weeks prior to each class. Walk-ups are welcome as long as space is available. Call 615.744.3357 to make your reservation.
Sign-in for the activity begins 30 minutes before the class in the upper-level foyer of the Frist Center. If those who have registered for the activity are not present when the activity begins, those spaces will be given to individuals on the waiting list.
Please note, even if you are a current Kids Club member, it is important that you make a reservation each time you plan to participate in the Kids Club Saturday activitiy. This helps us to manage the class sizes. Also, you do not have to be a Kids Club Member to participate in the Saturday activities, but reservations are requested.

Mad Hatter Inspired by The Golden Age of Couture: Paris and London 1947-1957 exhibition, Kids Club members will channel 1940s and 1950s hat makers to create their own fashionable headwear.
BONUS KIDS CLUB Saturday, October 2 10:30 a.m., 1:00 p.m., or 3:00 p.m.
Crafting for a Winter Wonderland Create holiday keepsakes to share with family and friends. Using a variety of materials and processes, participants will create holiday cards. Kids Club members can also submit their designs to be considered for use on the Frist Center’s 2010 holiday card!

Sassy Skelly Masks for Dia de los Muertos Learn about Dia de los Muertos (the Mexican Day of the Dead) by creating paper artworks that connect to holiday traditions. Participants will decorate a skull mask while learning about the ways people remember their departed loved ones during this festive celebration.

Light, Line, and Landscape Inspired by The Birth of Impressionism, participants will explore the beauty of Impressionist landscapes and use printmaking techniques to create their own panoramic masterpieces.

Color My Mood Explore the connection between color and mood in an activity inspired by James Abbott McNeill Whistler’s famous painting of his mother! Participants will learn about monochromatic color and explore hue, tint, and value as they mix paint, create portraits, and look at fabulous works of art!
